File and Folder Actions

Import Files

1. Go to destination folder in S3 Manager.
2. Choose File -> Import Files... or toolbar upload icon.
3. Select one or more files from macOS.
4. Confirm overwrite prompt if matching names exist.

Import Folder

1. Choose File -> Import Folder....
2. Select a local folder.
3. S3 Manager uploads recursively into current S3 path.

System files such as .DS_Store are excluded automatically.

Download

• Single file: right-click -> Download File.
• Multiple files: select and use download icon.
• Folder(s): right-click -> Download Folder(s) (recursive).

Save destination is chosen through the macOS save/open panel where applicable.

Copy To

1. Select one or more files.
2. Right-click -> Copy to....
3. Choose destination in the folder tree modal.
4. Click Copy.

• Copying into the same folder is blocked.
• If destination has same name, app prompts to replace or cancel.
• If a copy request fails, app offers retry or cancel.

Rename and Duplicate

Rename

• Single file only: right-click -> Rename.
• Enter new file name and confirm.
• Overwrite checks are enforced.

Duplicate

• Single file only: right-click -> Duplicate.
• Creates a copy named filename copy.ext.

Delete Files and Folders

• Files: right-click -> Delete File or toolbar delete icon.
• Folders: right-click -> Delete Folder (recursive).
• Delete progress is shown, including item counts with commas.
• Delete can be canceled while running.
